Roundcube Delete Problem

What is happening is when I have a large number of email, like 30 to 50, in my inbox that I want to delete it doesn't work. They will disappear from the inbox like they were deleted, but after I empty my trash and go back to my inbox they are still there. There are no apparent error messages, yet the problem remains. Has anyone else experienced this?

I just got off the phone with bluehost techsupport, and they had not seen this problem before. Although they confirmed the problem exists after they saw my account.
