I was in the middle of doing some work on my website and all of a sudden is starts being unresponsive. I go to the server status page at http://serverstatus.bluehost.com and guess what I see?
Server Load: ok
Services:
* 2008-06-10 22:04:59: Performing server upgrade.
Why couldn't they have sent me an email telling me that this would happen? Not only was I not informed, but I don't even know what they're upgrading! The last major upgrade was a fiasco.
I totally understand that upgrades need to happen. I understand that software needs to be kept up to date (hence why I was doing website work)... but all I ask is a little notice. Is that too much?
