Auto login problem with phpBB3

I have a phpBB3 forum going and my users are complaining that they cant get the auto login function to work... I myself can login with firefox with the autologin function working but not with Internet explorer 7 it wont remember... i have googled everywhere to find a solution to no avail.. could someone please help me fix this? I have a user who says that he has the opposite prob he can get in with internet explorer but not firefox... hmm weird.. and also some users are getting dropped out between pages...

Any help with this would be much appreciated.. thank you

Yep, this is a script issue - not hosting. Or the individual users browsers. How wide spread is it?

Did you install PHPBB via Simple Scripts? If so, then questions about phpbb are to be directed to bluehost. Not phpbb.com.

This sounds like an issue with cookies, which should not depend on how one installed the application.

It doesnt work on many many peoples internet explorer 7... I have seen similiar errors where people thought it may have been cookie related, I have checked the cookie setting and they are all correct as far as I know... umm I installed it via the install.php etc.. simple scripts hmm what is that... I am a bit of noob at this stuff sorry. thanks for your advice ill post a question on phpbb too if anyone else has solved a similiar prob please help me out if ya can... thanks
