I had this chat with bluehost, i complain about downtime and the CC person tells me to refund ??? , arent you supposed to apologise etc. and say it wont happen again rather than say its shared hosting, and get more expensive hosting.

Before i joined, in a chat the person selling told me that servers have very little downtime, i dont have enough money to buy another server nor do i want to shift.

cc person [8:13:10 PM]: Thank you for choosing Live Chat. Please allow me a some time to review and respond to your question. If you have not already provided your Main Domain name please do so now along with any additional details you feel I should have. I take multiple chats at once. There will be a short delay between my replies.

Me [8:13:10 PM]: Can you tell me why my sites were down again today, my box is box ***.
[8:14:30 PM]: see my stats here (Link here, 2:30 hours downtime in last 4 days)
[8:14:46 PM]: one and a half hour of downtime today also
[8:16:47 PM]: ________.com is my main domain name
[8:19:28 PM]: are you with me ?

CC Person [8:22:18 PM]: Updates to Apache and Rails.
[8:22:39 PM]: I understand your disappointment but we are in a shared hosting environment. There are companies our there that guarantee 100% up-time the cost is a lot higher. If you are not satisfied with our services and would like to cancel your account with us we understand and we will issue a refund for you. If you would like to do that please contact the billing department directly at: 1 888 401-4678 (They are in the office Monday through Friday from 9am - 5pm MST) OR send them an email to: billing@bluehost.com

Like they said, bluehost is a shared hoster, sometimes down times happens.

And like they said, if you have problems, you get a refund and try another host.
