Confused newbie

Hi all, I have a couple of questions that I hope someone can help me with.

I have installed a domain name to Wordpress and I now realise that Wordpress is not going to be suitable for what I want to achieve. I have looked around and am thinking of using Joomla. When I went to install Joomla I have found that I can't because of the Wordpress install. So subsequently question 1 is how do I undo the Wordpress install against the domain name?

Question 2 is whether anyone knows of the best CMS that I can use for a simple sales page set up...I have no idea and it seemed Joomla is a popular system so thought I'd go with that.

Sorry if I sound daft, I really don't know what I'm doing.

Hello ,
First delete all files in the domain name directory then try to install Joomla
For sales the best cms that you can use are zencart and CubeCart but if you dont want those i think joomla had some modules that you could use

Oh my Gosh, thanks for the help but because I don't know what I'm doing I have now deleted the wordpress installation I had in place for another website and that website has now gone down completely. I deleted the file in the new domain files I'm working on but it still wouldn't let me install a new CMS so I went back and deleted other files that were wordpress thinking they belonged to the new domain. I have backups of the other website which I have just tried to upload via FTP but I've done that to the public html folder but the files still say they're empty. I can't believe this! Hope someone can help, I spent months on the other site not that it is generating any income for me but that is another story. Any ideas???:eek:
