I posted the below in reply to my original problem but now I have created a new gigantic issue!

Oh my Gosh, thanks for the help but because I don't know what I'm doing I have now deleted the wordpress installation I had in place for another website and that website has now gone down completely. I deleted the file in the new domain files I'm working on but it still wouldn't let me install a new CMS so I went back and deleted other files that were wordpress thinking they belonged to the new domain. I have backups of the other website which I have just tried to upload via FTP but I've done that to the public html folder but the files still say they're empty. I can't believe this! Hope someone can help, I spent months on the other site not that it is generating any income for me but that is another story. Any ideas???

Hi, thanks for your support. I have raised a ticket and so far they have told me to remove the Wordpress install I had on my main domain and just create a new installation as I have a backup. The problem is I don't know what the heck i'm doing so I haven't a clue how to get the backup information to magically place itself into the right place. I've uploaded the backup file to the publichtml but it is just sitting in there and the website is still buggered. So the current question is how to get the backup information to the right place and where is that right place? Any ideas to try would much appreciated.
Michelle.
