Is there anyway to increase them?

When i upload my files im lucky if they upload at 9kbs Its usually less. It never botheredme when i first started as i was only uploading piccly little files at a time but now my business has got busier i seriously need to be able to upload quicker especially when my piddly little files are now totalling more than 30 mbs at a time.. Yes they are small but not with such small upload speeds.

Any help would be much apprecited.

Oh and im using filezilla and i have a 1mb connection(stable) to the internet if thats needed to be known LOL

Your upload speed should be as fast as your connection, as long as you don't have other resources utilizing your upstream bandwidth. What is your advertized upload speed? If you have a 1mb connection, its probably somewhere around 40kB/s (320kbit/s). With filezilla, you might to confirm that you have the settings configured correctly for your isp. For mine, I connect via Normal and select the bypass proxy settings. I have the following settings configured:

Connection > Firewall settings = none checked, Proxy = none

If you had the firewall setting as none checked, then you might want to try and check passive mode and see if this increases the upload speed.
