I am completely new to this kind of thing and really don't have a clue what I am doing :confused: . I have my domain name with GoDaddy and have redirected it here. Now I am trying to install Wordpress and it won't let me. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

We'll need a bit more information then "it won't let me". Have you tried yelling at it yet?

Where are you trying to install it to - public_html or a folder within that?

Which way are you trying to install it - manually, SimpleScripts, or Fantastico?

try using something called cyberduck (I am assuming you are on mac here) or FileZilla if you are on windows. Anyway, the most frequent problem with people who are unfamiliar to Web servers is that they dont put the files in the right sub directory. With other words when you logon with one of those apps to your server you need to upload the website to the www/ folder. Hope that helps
