A member of staff at cPanel confirmed a bug in the (Exim) mail filter section of the current version which Bluehost is using (version 11 I think).
This is a bug in how we create the filter. When 'Stop Processing rules' is selected, we add the 'unseen' directive to the filter. This is incorrect as according to the Exim Filter Specification ( http://exim.org/exim-html-current/do...tml#SECTsigdel ):
As far as I can tell from the Exim manual this should be "seen finish".
This is important with multiple filters to stop processing once a match has been made.
It should be possible to edit the filter with a text editor to correct this but the Account Level filter is stored in a directory level above the account home directory I can't get to mine. The user level filter can be accessed easily.
I was not advised when a patch or update would be available.
If anyone can advise me how I can get access to edit my account level filter I would be grateful.
