Can I rollback my Wordpress php files to a specific date?

Hi there. Annoying issue here - I slaved to tweak my Wordpress theme which was working great. Then suddenly, a week and a half ago, the site morphed back to it's original pre-tweaked template and all of my work is lost. Stupidly, I had made changes directly in Wordpress without saving my files down to my PC.

Is there any way I can restore the server back to a specific date without a backup file?

You can check with BH to see if they have backups from before but it's hit-or-miss. Lesson learned...
