Clearing out public_html after FrontPage

I initially created my web page using Frontpage and I wish to start over with another editor. I know my sub-domain and add-on domain directories must stay, but am I safe to uninstall the Frontpage extensions and delete all the files and folders in my public_html dierctory?

When I created ny add-on domain, I noticed the only directory there was the cgi-bin.

you should be ok doing that.Or you could delete all photos or whatever and name the new pages the same and just over write them.I think my public folder had the 400 era pages already there.
