View Full Version : Need HeLP! corrupted files?
Ok, I just uploaded a game i make(21MB)... it's in a rar file. everytime i upload it, it's 100% completed. but everything i download it to my desktop... the file inside the rar turns corrupted and there's a missing auto install files and such... why is that?
just want my forum members to play my game, "again..."(this game was released last year when my site was on a dedicated server) :(

it could be getting corrupt before it reaches the server.
if you have a router, upload straight to the internet and disable any firewalls/av programs.
naw, it's bluehost... it's not my firewall or anything else... i never experience anything like this before... but bluehost won't take it for some reason... do they scan the rar file and delete the .exe /auto install file in my rar?
i uploaded it to 3 other host that i have and it's fine...
why is bluehost doesn't take it?

Did you make sure to transfer it in binary mode?

Its not bluehost. We don't check or forbid any type of file at all. We simply allow anything to be uploaded. It DOES have to be binary mode though. Some hosts automatically make everything binary and so they might work, but we don't. You have to choose binary.
Thanks,
