Notifications with websites not loading?

Does bluehost contact or notify the registered members on bluehost.com whenever websites are having issues loading up?

I just noticed that my website and forum were not loading up, and so I thought that perhaps bluehost.com could be having problems, but since that won't load up either, I decided to check on the forum, and since no threads have been made about page error problems, I figured that either it was normal or no one has mentioned it yet...

Since BH and its corporate alter-egos, HostMonster and FastDomains are hosting over 1,000,000 domains, notifying customers when there's a problem is not possible.

Check http://serverstatus.bluehost.com (plug in your domain name) to see if there's a system-wide problem (there isn't), or if there's a problem on your specific server. There are over 1000 servers, so if one of them is having a problem, it's hardly surprising that no one else on these forums has mentioned it - the chance that someone else is on the same box is pretty small.

The fact that you can't get to bluehost.com, however, is mysterious. The site is definitely up (I just checked), so your problem may be closer to home, like a wonky node somewhere between you and Orem, UT (and there's certainly nothing BH can do about that).
