I am new to BlueHost. I moved my site from another hosting service and haven't gotten around to exploring all of BlueHost's feature. But I noticed my "MAIN error_log" is filled with this message;

"[Fri Nov 14 17:23:12 2008] [warn] RewriteCond: NoCase option for non-regex pattern '-f' is not supported and will be ignored."

This is repeated a dozen times with the same time stamp. Then more of the same with a different time stamp.

Is there something I likely did wrong? Where should I look first? This can't be healthy for either my site nor the server.

Thanks in advance for any insight you wizards might have.

I also have this filling my main error log.

However, the good news is that the main error log is a list of the most recent errors on the entire server. This includes your domain as well as any others on your server.

The PHP_error_log is the one you need to watch as that's the error log for your account. As long as that's relatively clean, you're good.

Everyone on that server would be seeing the same messages in the main log. The only one who need be concerned about it is the owner of the account that is actually generating the messages.

Thanks guys.

I'll assume it's not me since the latest errors in my log are from a week ago and I know what I did to get them and I fixed it. Didn't know any one was watching though.

Thanks again.
