Hi,

I'm wondering if any of you have used pagewizard that bluehost offers to build your site. If so, did you have a problem with manually inserting html in to the source page. I'm having a big problem getting the source page to take anything that I enter, especially the doctype...it just keeps deleting it.

I figured pagewizard would be easy, since I don't know much about html and it automatically writes the code for me while I work on the page, but when I ran a validation check there are a ton of errors and I can't fix them on the source page since it won't save any changes.

If anyone has used this program and can let me know how to get around this mess, I would greatly appreciate your help.

Thanks!

I attempted using the pagewizard on an experimental basis and found it restrictive and not very intuititive. If you need to edit inside the pages once they are created, you might want to download them, edit in a text editor and upload them again (preserve a copy of the unedited so you can undo of course).

I decided to move to a more fully featured package that is still easy to use... phpWebsite. It is provided free through bluehost's fantastico install process. My site requirements are very basic, and this was very suitable. You can code away merrily in HTML very freeliy within it's interface. Site creation is totally web based which is also rather neat. http://www.objectivebusiness.com is my site based in phpWebsite as an example.

Bottom line: I suggest using a different site building package.
