With all the downtime Bluehost has been having over the last few days, my boss wants me to look into website mirroring. I've tried Googling for it, but I get very vague answers and nothing helpful, so maybe what he wants doesn't even exist.
What we would love is to run our websites at two different locations (off-site we don't have our own web-servers) and if one goes down the other would take over. I haven't found anything like that...
Alternately I'd like to find some sort of syncing software and run it on two hosters, and if one goes down, at least we could change the Google AdWords to point to the still up server.
Everytime our websites go down there is the potential of losing thousands of dollars in sales for us, so this is a serious matter, and the company knows it will have to pay for this service.
Any ideas? Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
