Very much a newbie here, started a simple web page, typed some text and uploaded some photos, clicked on publish page but it does not yet appear. Support e-mailed to "name the first file that people see on your webpage to index.html" and that should fix it. Looks like it is already automatically named index.html and won't allow any editing in the box. Help? Thanks! Amy.

What editor did you use to create the page?

Call up the Control Panel, File Manager, and take a look at what's in your public_html directory. That's where your index.html should be. If there's a default.html or default.htm in there, delete it. When you point your browser to http://www.yourdomain.com, the server will automatically cough up the index.html file sitting in your public_html directory, if there is one.

Hello, thanks for the help! Went into Control panel, File manager, deleted a default.html in the public html directory. Now when I type in my website name, a list of text comes up Index of 400.shtml 401 shtml, etc. which includes my domain name with index html which will then take me to the web page. Getting closer? Thanks! Amy.

It sounds like you've managed (somehow) to bury your index.html a level down. Look in public_html. You should see a simple file listing for index.html. It should not be in some subdirectory, and it should not have anything else in its name. It should not be showing your domain name anywhere.
What's your domain name?

Hello, domain is clickandrewardtraining.com
I don't see a simple file listing for index.html in public_html. The only index file I see is clickandrewardtrainingindex.html. Guess that's what missing? Thanks! Amy.

That did it! Renamed the file and it comes up properly. Thanks so much for all your help. The instructions I got from my support ticket were correct, but I needed more help to get in there and find the file to rename. Thanks again, I'll probably be back! :) Amy.
