View Full Version : Lack of reliability

Recently I posted a complaint about the reliability I've encountered with Bluehost, despite being a customer for YEARS.

The moderators jump in and quote "if over 99% isn't reliable what is"...

Then quickly close the question.

1/ I've not had 99% reliability, as indicated in the last few weeks it's been more like 50% - check with technical support if you don't believe me, I've had to phone a bunch of times, it's time consuming and I'm bored hearing "they are working on it it'll be back online in 45 minutes to several hours"....
I think the level 1's make this up when they've no idea what is up.

2/ Instead of moderators challenging the forum post, it would be much more impressive if Bluehost recognized my displeasure and looked into it, to fix the problems - not sweep them under the carpet. I've better things to do than express myself here, this illustrates frustration. It's not acceptable for you to blame 'data' I'm your customer, it's your server, check before making such a stupid statement.

3/ If you're going to have a forum, don't moderate it to prevent discussion of problems, and get the sales pitch in first - undermining your own customers.

It's going to be a lonely world with loads of servers, and no customers.

For what seems like the millionth time... ***deep breath***

This is a user-to-user help forum and the moderators have no ties to BlueHost other than being BH customers like yourself. Threads such as these become nothing more than a place for people to vent their own personal frustrations.

No one here has any issue with your complaint; unfortunately, this is NOT the forum for such a discussion. You need to take it up with BH; believe me, if a large percentage of its customer base begins to have problems, they WILL notice and if they don't act on it, then it's their own fault. As has always been the case, if you are unhappy with the service, ask for a prorated refund and take your business elsewhere.

Nothing personal but, similar to other threads such as this one, it will be closed.
