When I enter my password in the webmail login access in control panel and click submit nothing really happens, but it should open up another browser window. I´ve
also tried to access webmail writing the adress mail.mydomain but with no success at all. I´ve tried to access through explorer successfully. Anyone knows how to solve this bug? Thank you.

Works OK for me (FF 3.0.5). What add-ons do you have installed on FF? You might try disabling them one at a time.
Also, in FF, check Tools, Options, Tabs - I've got it set to open in a new tab (rather than a new window). Under Tools, Options, Privacy, make sure you're set to accept cookies.
Finally, try www.yourdomain.com/webmail

I´ve been trying to work it out but have not found any measure to be efficient,
anyway I have access through parallels windows xp emulator (since I work with an intel macbook) so I can reach webmail that way. Nevertheless I appreciate your knowledge. Happy Holidays.

I think I found your answer while looking for my own. I used to know how to access my webmail and then developed this senior moment where I could not remember how to get there in Firefox... don't use IE.
The first thing is to type in http://www.yourdomainname.com/webmail
You should immediately see a login box.
Enter the full email address that you have created.
Example: JohnDoe@anydomainname.com
Then enter the password you have assigned.
Thanks for asking the question... I would have never remembered how to do it.
Good Luck
