I had a forum on one of my domains. It must of got hacked into and there were lots of viagra related posts, etc. I didn't need that forum too much, so I removed it. I still get lots of hits on the domain from Russia and a few other countries non-USA.

Is there a way to block the commies through a HTACCESS file or something?

In this politically correct world, restricting my web hits may get me sued, LOL. My defense will be I was trying to reduce global warming, those extra webhits have to be causing friction in the wires. Algore will love me for this.

See Control Panel, IP Deny Manager, which will generate the .htaccess entries for you. The trick is to figure out what blocks of IP addresses apply to which countries. It's not very clear cut, and of course some black hats are using proxies, so it can be pretty tough to block them effectively.

Google for block ip countries, and you'll find a lot of discussions about it, sites that claim to generate the .htaccess for you, and so on. You might try http://www.blockacountry.com
