When I try to log into simplescripts from cpanel, I get the following error on the ss page:
"Demo Account
You are signed into the demo account. Installations may be deleted at any time. You were logged into the demo account because your FTP login information didn't validate."
I thought it might be a browser bug, but I get the same thing from IE, Opera, and Firefox.
Does anyone know why this could be happening and how to fix it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
-Dan

Have you actually logged into the Control Panel using your own BH username and password? I get that error only if I go into the Control Panel using the "Demo" login. When you're in the Control Panel, if your domain is shown (upper left) as "blewhost.com," then you're just logged into the Control Panel with a demo account.

Yeah, I'm logged into my bluehost account's cpanel, and it's the SimpleScripts link under Software/Services in BlueHost's cPanel that gives me this error. I'm not trying to log into simplescripts manually, as far as I know you can't, you have to log in through your host.

Sounds like one that the tech support folks will have to look at. But not today, obviously!

Guess so. It was fine a couple of weeks ago, can't think of what could've changed since then. It's no big deal though, I was just going to upgrade my wp install to 2.7, nothing that can't wait till the techs see this thread.

This is not a BH support site, and the techs rarely visit here. You'll need to contact them via phone or Live Chat tomorrow.
