Multiple email forwarding

Hi

Let us assume for a moment that my email address is xxx@zzz.com (Not a site hosted on Bluehost) and messages received at this address get forwarded to yyy@ppp.com (Another site not hosted on Bluehost). Then, messages received at yyy@ppp.com get forwarded to my email inbox on my site here at Bluehost.

a) Would the fact that there would be multiple forwarding slow down my message reception ?

b) Would there be an additional possibility of losing messages or message attachments in the process ?

c) Any risk involved in doing so ?

I am curious to know.

Why not just configure your mail to check incoming at xxx@zzz.com ? Lots of free email software will handle multiple accounts.

The reason is that the first 2 are only email forwarders and not real mailboxes. They only forward emails to your site. They do not keep the emails on their servers. Only the site hosted here at Bluehost is a real email box.
