FrontPage Extensions - Will They Go Away Soon?

Anyone know what the plan is for maintaining FrontPage extensions? Will they be eliminated in the near future? Thanks.

Microsoft killed off FrontPage completely in 2007. I don't know if Expression Web can use FrontPage extensions. If it can then the extensions would still be supported, if not then the extensions haven't been supported since 2007 and will only continue to work until someone finds a security hole.
