Email MX Settings

I have a .co.uk domain with 123-reg.co.uk

I want to use email with this domain.

I have added the domain as an addon with BH, I can access the email accounts from the CP but I can not login to the IMAP server either from Thunderbird or from my roundcube install http://mydomain.co.uk/email

Do I need to do something with an MX record with 123-reg.co.uk?

I can view my website which is on Bluehost with no problems.

Any ideas?

If the nameservers on the domain point to BlueHost and it is correctly set up as an add-on domain and you have added the email accounts correctly then it should be working.

it wasn't working so added mydomain.co.uk as the MX entry.

Thunderbird will now accept mail.mydomain.co.uk as my mailserver now, but my roundcube install still can't connect to the IMAP server. Hopefully its just a DNS propogation thing.
