I am once again looking at shopping carts. I liked the looks of Magento last year but was afraid to use it because it seemed very new and like there might be lots of issues that would still need to be worked out so I wasn't ready to venture into those waters.
Now that it has been available on BlueHost and SS for awhile I'm wondering if anyone on this forum has been using it and if you would share your site and what you do and don't like about it.
Any input would be appreciated.

I have not had a good Magento experience thus far. The admin backend is incredibly un-intuitive in my opinion. I have had numberous memory issues and increasing the memory limit in php.ini is a necessity.
I honestly do not think running Magento from BlueHost is a very good idea. With throttling and php.ini memory cap limits, it's just underpowered.
I think it sux that BlueHost offers Magento, but then won't allow sufficient resources to ensure it will work adequately.

I signed up for Amazon checkout, but there doesn’t seem to be a provision for using the Magento / merchant calculated shipping?
Or am I missing something?
The only shipping options for this checkout method are built into Amazon’s backend? They are primitive and are quite useless and impractical to me….
Perhaps there is a setting somewhere in the Amazon back-end that I haven’t seen?
Thanks in advanced for any input.
I looked at Magento as well awhile ago and just wasnt sold on it after I read the reviews... Keep looking
