Hi,

I am trying to build a website using Joomla Template on bluehost. The template looks pretty awesome with a wonderful admin tool to customize the site, but i am unable to find place where i could edit the header part of the website, i.e. Joomla ICON and a daily quote/banner that appears on the top of the site.

eg.
"With a library of thousands of free Extensions, you can add what you need as your site grows. Don't wait, look through the Joomla! Extensions library today."

Please guide me how could i edit the header to add my own logo and banner to the site using Joomla.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards, Dharmen

If you are using a Joomla script, which it sounds like you are, you will need to edit the CSS file(s). There are lots and lots of different templates for Joomla and have their own way of coding.

Being new to Joomla I would suggest that you go to http://Joomla.org and look in the forum. There is a really good beginners guide and a lot of info on doing things like editing a header or logo.

Joomla does have a learning curve to it but if you hang in you will learn a lot. Don't get discouraged.

Have fun!
