Forwarding www.domainx.com to www.domainy.com/domainx/

Hi I've got a domain on 123reg.co.uk that I'd like to point to a directory on my main bluehost account with a wordpress install on. I can use their web forwarding option to do that at the moment but all the links inside wordpress end up still pointing to domainy.com/domainx/blah. Then when I try and change the base URL in wordpress it goes into a loop and I can't login to it any more. Anyone know a way to get this working?

can't you just set the nameservers for the domain to point to bluehost and then set it up as an addon domain?
