I have 6 or 7 blogs with BH and they were all unavailable for a while. BH says the problem is too many processes running and directed me to the process manager. Problem is, it keeps happening and I keep having to log in and kill the processes.

I'm not a tech person and have no idea what this does except my sites do come back up. I suspect this is some sort of bandwith/memory problem. Any help appreciated for finding a permanent solution..

What blog script are you using?

Do you have any cache plugins installed?

They all have affiliate links which are sometimes javascript. Also things like social media buttons which are javascript, and yes I do use a caching plugin for at least one of them.

Javascript is executed in the visitor's browser, not on the server. When felgall asks about "scripts," he means things that execute on the server side, like Wordpress or Joomla.

They all run WordPress.

Do you have one of the cache plugins installed and active so that the pages don't have to rebuilt for every visitor?

Yes, I use the super cache plugin.

if your blogs are using that many resources with that setup then it appears that you have reached the point where you need to start considering moving to a higher level type of hosting such as a VPS.
