Hello all,
Perhaps one of you can recommend a good (aka, free) software for hosting my medical school notes for my peers. Essentially, these notes are just files (PDF's, images, powerpoints, etc.). I'd also like to have the option of users uploading their own files to contribute to the repository. Things like Subversion are highly tailored for collaborative coding projects, so that's not exactly what I'm looking for. Any suggestions?

Subversion is not just for coding projects. It can be used to keep track of versioning of anything, including photos, PDFs, Word documents, anything that can be stored on a computer.

I don't think SVN is what you want, though.
