Poor Connection

Hi I hope somebody can help me before I pull out what little hair I do have left!
I am getting really poor connections to server intermittently. My bluehost cPanel takes ages to load and some times just gives up with the message:

Network Timeout:
The server at box555.bluehost.com is taking too long to respond.

Other pages from all over the world are loading ok, just intermittent pages on my sites here on bluehost. Any ideas please?

While it's not exactly the same subject, you should start with the sticky thread at the top of this forum, My website is down. What should I do? (http://www.bluehostforums.com/showthread.php?t=15418) Much of the same advice applies.
