Ok , I know I can see where and wehn people have gone to the site, but is there a counter for site hits anywhere or way on here?

I would like to see just how many time users are hitting my site....thoughts?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Control Panel, Choose Log Programs, and enable Awstats for your domain. Wait at least 24 hours (so that it can gather some stats), then choose Control Panel, Awstats to see the results.

In cPanel you can use 'awstats' or 'webalizer'. They're not 100% accurate, but are close.

They should both be accurate for recording hits (the number of files downloaded) and pageviews (HTML files downloaded). It is only where decisions need to be made on partial info such as real visitors vs spiders and unique vs repeat visits that the counts would differ.
