View Full Version : FTP / Wordpress- Where is the /wp-content/ folder?

I am new. Using Filezilla and Wordpress. I am trying to install a WP Plugin - but not seeing the /wp-content/ folder in Filezilla anywhere that I am supposed to upload to. Where would it be? Am I connected wrong?

It will be within whatever folder you have Wordpress installed in.

sorry to sound daft, but I searched my entire computer and couldn't find wordpress? I installed it through simplescripts. Maybe I'm logged in to Filezilla with the wrong username? I just used the one for "main account"

ok I called BlueHost and they told me it was under the "public-html" folder...

public_html then look for a folder named, "Blog" if you have installed your WP onto yourdomain.com/blog. Double click "Blog" and you will see "wp-content". If you installed WP on yourdomain.com look for the "wp-content" folder right inside the public_html.
