when i use php fast CGI, install PHP.ini in my server, when i try to manager my content, i get this error , how to resolve this problem?
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 54525952 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 80 bytes) in /home/traverst/public_html/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 462

A google search showed that there was a bug in 1.5.x. The latest supplied by Simple Scripts is 1.5.11 that also includes some security updates. If you haven't updated to that yet, then you should do so.

If you are using the installation supplied by Fantastico, then by all means upgrade, as this version is quite old.

In any case, the problem lies in the line referenced in the error message, and has been reported at the Joomla site. If upgrading does not fix this, then I would suggest a visit to their support site.
