url to an uploaded bluehost picture

Greetings!

I'm using bluehost and wordpress for my blog. I uploaded some pictures to my public_ftp folder.

When I try to insert a picture in my new blog post, what url do i use? Or is there something I am missing?

Thanks in advance... I've spent the last 2 hours trying to "get it" myself... now it's time to ask the experts :)

You can't link from a website to the public_ftp directory - that directory is simply a repository for files that are FTP'ed. If you want to use the file in your website, you have to move it to public_html (or some subdirectory of it).
