I was not sure if I should put this here or in the fantastico/scripts section. On my website I do host some fanfiction and am going to be allowing these authors to put their own original stories up as well. Currently I am adding all this by hand everytime they submit the text files to me. I am looking to find a way where they can create a simple author profile and submit their own work onto my site so I do not have to write out so much HTML. I want it to automatically be up as soon as they submit or to be show as soon as I say 'its within the site rules'. I know enough to realize that I am looking at needing something in PHP to do this but I have no idea what would even come close to meeting my needs. So if any of you have any suggestions of programs or something to use I would be very greatful!

I've been looking at the same kind or feature or a different application. I was going to look into integration of FCKeditor (http://www.fckeditor.net/) into one of the pages. I have not looked into the details yet so cannot offer more advice.

good luck.

eFiction looks pretty close...

Probably most of the Content Management Systems in Fantastico would work. Some may have plugins for them to do what you want. Wordpress has features and plugins that would work also.

i highly reccommend Drupal. http://drupal.org
its free. its sort of blog based, but one of the main features is that it allows people create "book pages"... to take a look at a drupal site in action, take my blog site: http://zhentemple.com

another one is ezPublish, i forget if that was useful or not.

Are there people who can help me organise my Drupal?
My Drupal page is total shambles...and could look like yours...
