How to upload Moodle modules like Skype, DimDim, Paypal

How and where do I upload modules for Moodle. I would like to have Skype and possibly DimDim on my Moodle course. I imagine I would use FTP but not sure what the procedure is. I am a newbie. Also, if I wanted Paypal on my site, how would I do that?

Some plugins/modules will come with specific instructions (look for a "readme" file). Otherwise, this article should cover the basics: http://docs.moodle.org/en/Installing_contributed_modules_or_plugins

Paypal can be involved with your site in a few ways. If you want to allow users to donate or purchase a product, you can create a very simple button under your Paypal account (under Merchant Services, if my memory serves). If you want a subscription setup with it, you'd want to look into a module that does the trick.
