How to access my website without using the domain?

Hello,

Just signed up with bluehost. I have my website running at another host, during the transition to host it under bluehost, I need to access the website without using the domain.

How can I access the website without using my domain?

I have tried

boxXX.bluehost.com/accountname
boxXX.bluehost.com/domain.com

But it doesn't work.

Use the temporary access this way:

http://your.ip.address.here/~accountname

Note the tilde in front of the accountname, and that is the one you would use to login to the cPanel.

For ftp access, use this:

ftp://accountname@your.ip.address.here/public_html

Note that there is no tilde using ftp.

You should have received this information in an email from BH.
