I was uploading new themes and when I went to preview them I found this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /home1/moviemob/public_html/index.php on line 1
I am a noob with PHP and I have no idea what's happened, except that on every single theme including the one visible on my public page I'm getting this error. Please someone help. My site is down and I'm completely lost.:(
What is your domain name? Link to the page in question?
What program/application/script are you using as your default template?
From the complete lack of information given, I can only guess that you have uploaded a theme into the wrong directory, or other reason why the script cannot find the full template package.
BTW posting twice within 5 minutes won't get you help any faster. This is a volunteer help forum, not a BlueHost support center. Please be paitent until a volunteer arrives who can assist you.
Meanwhile, try replacing the faulty theme with the original if possible. This should restore your site to its state before you began changing themes.

I'm sorry for the lack of info. I'm new to this as was in panic mode at first. The website is
moviemobsters.com
and the theme in question could be numerous because I was uploading quite a few. I didn't activate any and everything still went bananas. I'm looking to see if I uploaded in the wrong file right now.
I apologize for the multiple posting. I thought I'd mistakenly put this in the wrong area, so I did it a second time.
I'm giving your suggestions a try and thank you very much for taking the time.

If you can, undo the changes that you made. Somewhere along the line you have placed something either in your index page that is illegal. Take a good look at it at the top of the file.
EDIT: In looking at this closer, I see it's a Wordpress installation. Does the problem go away if you go back to the original theme that you had?

Thank you for looking, but no it does not. I called Bluehost, and they recommended I just wait for a response from the ticket I sent, but I still haven't heard from them. I deleted all the themes I uploaded today and tried another, but yet nothing still.
What do you mean illegal?

Sorry - I didn't mean something against the law!!! I meant something wrong in the index.php file. But...
It's probably not the index page itself, since this is a WP installation. It has to be the way you uploaded and installed the themes. Since your admin panel still works, all is not lost. Have you tried the forums yet at the Wordpress site?
Do you have a backup or a local copy of your site that you can use to recover?

Question - do you have both an index.html AND an index.php under the public_html folder?

The site seems to be coming up fine for me.
When you get a "Call to undefined function" error it means that either there is a coding error or that your theme, file, whatever it may be, etc., did not upload properly. Often times this can be fixed by completely re-uploading the theme, or whatever and making sure to upload everything properly, not missing files, etc. Even if you are certain you uploaded it properly the first time, sometimes a file or folder doesn't finish uploading properly and it breaks things, so re-uploading is necessary.
