I'm using stock quote and currency quote modules within Joomla 1.5, which use curl to access the links. They work fine locally, using the Joomla preview utility. I have my site mirrored on my own computer, and they work fine locally there, as well. However, when accessing the site as a link across the net, the modules hang for several minutes, and then start working. This seems like a caching issue, but I can't resolve it by disabling caching from my Joomla administrator. If this is indeed a caching problem, perhaps with Apache, does anyone know how to resolve it?
