formmail - email error

I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who can help me with this. I have created a form via formmail and it works find on my local drive but when I put it up online (we use Joomla and Bluehost is our server) and hit the submit button it keeps giving me an error of "Email addresses may not contain (,),>,< or other control chars."

Any suggestions????
