Captcha image will not display

Loaded mailcode,made form, configed, tryed diffrent permissions, full path changes, checked for php4,GD and true type, deleted, reinstalled about 20 times.
everything works great on another website and host.
Is something different on bluehost, the site just keeps running waiting for the script to finish displaying the captcha image, showing no box just a blank space. It sure seems I have everything I need to run this.
Been all over web looking for clues. Any info would be great.

I am not sure which code you are using , custom/ open source etc. To identify the problem with captcha, you need to copy paste the image URL on a separate browser window. Most probably you will get the error message there. If not, try to comment the script at differnt places and see the optput. Always try the direct captcha URL on browser, if you test it on an HTML page, you are never going to get any error message. Also make sure that your PHP error settings allow displaying all errors.
