Hello guys,

I was having this error message on all my Wordpress blogs admin pages “An Unexpected HTTP Error occurred during the API request”, Even my FTP account login works once and not connecting 10 times!

So.. after searching a little bit I discovered that this is because the server is too slow, and as usual they said that they didn’t see anything wrong with my websites and everything is working just fine from their side (this happen every time I contact with them when I have problems!), and they asked me to cancel my hosting plan and go for the new Grid hosting plan, this means I will have to move all my websites to the new hosting plan to get a faster hosting service, and this thing pissed me off to the max because I will never ever do this painful thing on their servers again, so this is what I thought it’s the time to move on and leave to another hosting server with another company!

I finally moved here to BlueHost, they are nice people! and I got a new domain name for my new project [mod: removed url]

I am just wondering how to move my primary domain from GoDaddy to BluHost?! is that going to effect my blog?

If you are referring to the blog hosted elsewhere, then yes it will be down for the time that it takes you to complete the move of your database and scripts. If you do some good planning, then you should be able to make the move fairly quickly.

Once you initiate the move from one hosting company to another, there will be a propagation time for the DNS to be sent out to the 'world' and people will start getting directed to the site at Bluehost.

For the interim, you may want to do two things. Create a post on your blog hosted elsewhere that it will be moving, giving an estimated date, etc, and went it might be back up again.

Second, create a temporary page on the new host that gives a status of the move so your followers don't give up on you.
