thought this might be useful to some of you guys if you don't already use it.
I've got two desktops side by side: one for development and games and the other for downloading and chat and archiving and music. it's a real pain to slide down the desk (yeah, all three feet!) and use another mouse/keyboard (not to mention it takes up some three feet of otherwise useful space!), so this program comes in handy:
Synergy (http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/)
basically it's a software K/V/M switch minus the Video. you can add as many computers as you want and you can set them up in any pattern that you like (for example, I can set the bottom of my leftmost screen to wrap around to the left of my rightmost screen if I want). not only that, it gives some functionality to the SCROLL LOCK key, heh.
