With today media driven website technology, many of my clients ask for options for uploading video and streaming video and I am suprised that BH is not even considering to support FLVTool2 and FFMPEG. I have suggested a couple times via Chat Support. I like their support and don't really move all my websites to other another host if they consider to add these options.

The reason those two tools are not supported is because this is a shared hosting environment. Even with the best throttling systems and the best hardware / software configurations, using tools like ffmpeg and flvtool2 use enough system resources to adversely affect other users on your server. They would likely be used by a vast amount of people, thus creating a large drop in everyone's website performance.
Normally, resource heavy tools like these require a VPS host where you have your own 'slice' of a server and you can use as many resources as you want from that piece. Just doing a quick google search I found a few VPS hosts that are right around $20 per month. If it's a must for you to use ffmpeg and flvtool2 I would recommend trying out a vps server.
I'm not trying to argue with you, those tools are definitely great, but IMO with today's hardware and software capabilities, I don't think they belong on shared hosts. I don't want to pay (via slowness) for tools someone else is using.

Also, to the OP, this is a user to user forum, not a Bluehost support forum.
Read the Read Before Posting (http://www.bluehostforums.com/showthread.php?t=16751) at the top.

Thank you farcaster for pointing that out. I have edited my post so that I am not talking to HB now.
I have set up 6 websites for my clients with Arvixe.com for $4/month for the last 6 or 7 months and they all seem to be just fine. If BH offers the options, these websites would have been with HB. At least, I tried to give them my suggestion. That is all I wanted to say.

BlueHost have said on a few occasions that they eventually hope to offer VPS or dedicated hosting but have never put a timeframe on when.
