wordpress upgrade [Archive] - bluehostforum.com

I upgraded wordpress to 2.8.6 version. Bluehost shows all is good but wordpress admin still shows the old version (2.7.1).
what am I doing wrong?

Did you upgrade with SimpleScripts or with the WP Upgrade built-in?

The simplest way of getting WordPress to upgrade correctly is to use the option built into WordPress itself. Once you have WordPress installed there is no reason to ever return to the facility you iused to do the initial install.
