running a cgi script

I have a simple script for sending a link of whatever page you were on to any email address(es) you enter.

I put the script in the cgi-bin and it doesn't run. Nothing, no error, no nothing.

Is there something I am missing? ok, I know there is, that is obvious, but is there something that leaps out to you and says, yes, you forgot to do....

It is linked correctly on the page to the cgi-bin on my site..

Did you set the script's permissions? They should be 0755 for it to work right.
