When I click the Start button and then "All Programs" there are so many programs installed that there's no room for any more. So I have to use "run" and remember what I installed and where (not so easy to do).

Isn't there a way to configure that "All Programs" Start menu so that related programs can be in Subfolders? Like the MS office applications together in an "MS office" folder, miscellaneous utilities in a "Utilities" folder, instead of all individually?

I seem to remember doing this in Win95 and Win98; is there any way to do it in XP Home?

I would imagine that you could do this, but either way that question is completely unrelated to this thread, and this forum. I would suggest contacting microsoft directly for support with their product.

This is a forum mainly consisting of Bluehost customers helping other Bluehost customers with website issues.

If you are a Bluehost customer, you could create your own thread in the Off Topic section of the forum. Someone may be able to help you there.

Right-click on the Start Menu button. Click on "Open." That will give you the full list of installed programs (the shortcuts).

Yes. Just right click on the start button and select "Explore", You can then go into the "Programs" folder inside the "Start Menu" and rearrange your programs however you like.

When installing new programs you can then put them straight into the correct folder by adding the foldername and a \ to the front of the name the install suggests to use for the start menu.
