Can this be done?
I have a UBB board that is topping out at 8GB for images. 10GB will not be enough. Can i additional space to a package?
Thanks for your time.

jimmi

Well I thought you could, but now I can't find anything to back that up. The help-center (http://helpdesk.bluehost.com/kb/index.php?x=&mod_id=1) knowledgebase has an entry (http://helpdesk.bluehost.com/kb/index.php?x=&mod_id=2&root=15&id=159) about additional bandwidth, but not about additional storage space. I could've sworn I remember something about buying extra space...
Bluehost currently does not offer disk space upgrades.

Thanks Dave, and sorry jimmi. I must have been recalling another hosting provider that I was looking at while comparison shopping.

That's too bad... There's one potential client that won't be moving to Bluehost...

Or you could buy two accounts :s
Did you say 8GB of images?!

Yup... 8GB. It's an artsy board. Users tend to embed allot and have been doing so for a few years now. It adds up!!

But surely you don't simply archive them all..
What reason is there to have access to all of the images at any given time? Wouldn't it be wiser to keep thumbnails and backup the older images somewhere else? 8GB is either (at least) tens of thousands of (wallpaper quality) images or you aren't compressing them properly.
Would you mind terribly posting a link to this so I could have a better understanding of your situation.

You used to be able to, last I knew. I had asked them this once and they said,
You can purchase Extra Disk Space at $5.00 per Gig per month.
