Has anyone bridged these 2 programs?
I can't seem to get the configuartion files to talke with each other.
Anyone know that the correct settings are for this?
Thanks,

The program says that the SMF forum must be installed in the same database as Joomla. Is that something I can do with Fantastico? Or do I have to manually install it? And if so can someone tell me how?
Thanks,
page1ink.

If nobody has an answer, I suggest you check out the Joomla and SMF forums. I'm sure someone there has posted a solution that could help you out.

Just specify the same database for both installations?
Manual install, fantastico will just make it's own database.
If you need help with it I can walk you through the steps.

Just point it to your joomla database, but don't change the smf prefix.
eg: *installation database* XXXX_joomla
*database prefix* SMF_
It will self install it's self. You will have like 36 more files in your database. Then just follow the rest of the instructions. Also be sure it is in your joomla directory. If your site is xxx.com then make sure smf is there. If it's in xxx.com/joomla make sure it is there. :)
