What's a good classifieds software?

Trying to keep it simple and use Fantastico if possible, what is the best way to go? I am thinking about just using PHPBB "out of the box" so to speak.

I have not made a change to the package in many months since it does what I want it to do (box35).
Their support group forum is excellent...handles paypal well.

Pricing is very fair.
EZ to install with a basic knowledge of php.
the paypal works fine, design your own ad packages...
lots of options if you need them..
be careful in setting up the encryption software.
use ascii for text transfers.
take care redoing the home page template....
lots of help on the forum...start asking questions there :-)

Hmm have you ever tried free open source CMS solutions?

Joomla has one or two nice classifieds components that you can try
Drupal probably has some too

I definatly recommend those 2 for a portal

Hai Aalex,

AJ Classifieds installation is very simple task.

Please make sure that the following are done before installing the script,

a. Make sure the AJ Classified files are uploaded to correct path in the server
b. Please give 777 (read, write, execute) permission for the scoping directory and include directory.
c. create a new database for the script
d. create a new username and password for the script
e. Make sure you grant all permissions in the database for the created user.
f. Please provide the following information correctly to install the script.

i. Database Host name – usually local host for most of the system, else give the host name correctly
ii. Database Name – Please give the name of the database you have created for our script
iii. Database Username – Please give the username you have created for our script
iv. Database Password – Please give the password you have created for our script

Its okay for you? Anymore help ask me.
